MINISTER’S MESSAGE

It is with great pleasure that I, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, extend my warmest congratulations to the organizers of Medicare 2026 – The International Healthcare Exhibition. Over the years, Medicare has become more than an exhibition — it has evolved into a vital platform for learning, sharing, and shaping the future of healthcare in Sri Lanka.

As a nation, we face evolving health challenges and emerging opportunities. To meet them, we must ensure that accurate, accessible, and timely health information reaches every citizen. Medicare 2026 plays a central role in this mission by bringing together experts, innovators, and the public under one roof to share knowledge that can transform lives.

The Ministry of Health is committed to building a healthier Sri Lanka — one where informed communities take charge of their well-being. Through Medicare 2026, we can inspire healthier lifestyles, raise awareness
on preventive care, and showcase the advancements that will shape our healthcare system for generations to come.

The initiative taken by the organizers to honour the unsung heroes of Sri Lanka’s healthcare system, and to extend meaningful support to key public institutions under the banner of Mission Pride – මෙහෙවර අභිමාන් ,
is deeply appreciated.

I am confident that this year’s exhibition, held with the patronage of the Ministry of Health, will not only strengthen our healthcare sector but also empower the nation with the information, inspiration, and innovation needed for a healthier and more prosperous future.
